Stephen Harper made an unannounced surprise campaign visit at the Fredericton Inn. Mainstream media were only notified hours before his visit to the capital city of Fredericton.
According to the polls the popularity of Harper and his party is slipping, his efforts in Fredericton is to solidify hard-core party supporters to vote for local MLA Keith Ashfield.
The word on the street is that only conservative supporters will be able to attend, his army of security personal will eject anyone who is not in the invite list.
Currently the Reform Conservative party hold eight of 10 seats, a loss of just one seat potentially could mean the end of Harper’s strong-arm control of Canada.
